GOD CHOSE ME????
me,
a nobody,
an everyday little Negro girl
raised on the “wrong side of the tracks”
in Amarillo, Texas.
me,
a food stamp,
gov-mint cheese
recipient.
me,
a twice married
victim of horrendous
spousal abuse.
me,
who grew up with a huge
stuttering speech impediment.
me,
who grew up
unpopular, could barely find
anybody to go to prom with,
ate lunch at the nerd table,
and was always the last
person picked for
team sports.
I still
marvel daily
that God, the creator of
the entire universe,
would choose and use me.
and if
God can use
lil’ ol’ me,
He can
definitely
use
big ol’ you.!!!

haiti magnet
I wrote my two books about Haiti to call hearts into action for and to celebrate women and children living barely two hours away from my red, white and blue shores of America who are living in the dire straits of abject poverty and neglect. WOMEN AND CHILDREN…not statistics…WOMEN AND CHILDREN
