NEVER TOO YOUNG or THE KENNEDY CONNECTION

PENCIL/PEN MINISTRYdelivery accomplished
After the earthquake of 2010 I asked my dear dear friend Francois Filogene (the superintendent of schools and administer for over thousands of students) what could I do to help him? I thought he would ask for money or for food, but he said…”CAN YOU BRING ME SOME PENS AND PENCILS!!! I need thousands of pens and pencils because since the earthquake they are very difficult for us to get. I am the Administer over many schools and I am often asked by the students as well as teachers for writing instruments for the kids. I am sad when I am not able to give them something as important as a pencil.” THANK YOU to Kennedy, a young American student for her devotion and obedience to the call on her heart to help me grant this simple request for the 3rd year as well as granting the new request this year for toothbrushes and toothpaste. (Kennedy was in middle school when she began collecting pens and pencils for my journey to Haiti, now she is in her first year of high school)

  1. a note from Kennedy:

“Seeing this makes me so happy! Knowing that I was the one to collect all of those pencils for the students in Haiti, something that we take for granted everyday. I just think that its so cool that those pencils are in Haiti helping kids study and work. It makes me want to work harder and harder and get more things for Ms. Yolantha Harrison-Pace to take! I cant wait for the day that I get to go with her!”
