JAKZUN and JACKSON: a poem for fearless warriors

fear
“THE KILLER”
fear kills
the mind
and
disenfranchises
the heart.
fear snakes
and
constricts
and
blinds perceptions
into stagnation
or causes
one to run–
when holding one’s
ground would have
insured
a constant knowledge
of time and place.
fear kills the mind,
hypnotizing into what is
that
which should never be,
as bravery
lays dormant,
a rug mat
upon which
cowards wipe their feet.
fear kills the mind
and all that is
potentially potent
to unite
a cause and change
a millennium.
fear slams cages shut,
clips wings and such.
fear is a full bodied armor
upon its own.
yet
boldness is
bravery
all
alone.
(a poem for Transformer, Inspirer, Motivator, Enlightener-Dr. Terry Jackson, Phd, and True Nubia Blogtalk Radio host and political activist-Jackson Hamiter, two fearless men called Jackson. TheyLead, TheyEmpower, TheyEducate, TheyBuild, TheyInspire.)
there is nothing to fear
but the fear of
not having a
Jackson in the room
