Usually I prepare a meal for the community where I am serving in Haiti. This year instead we made “food kits” to give the children to take home to their families. The difference in this strategy became a show of gratitude that was infused with a sense of pride and dignity from the children to be able to provide for their families. Each kit contained beans, rice and spaghetti. This also worked best because we were able to provide more than one meal to the families. Thank you to all in America who support this Godly service.

The people asked Jesus, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, when did we see you naked and clothed you, sick or in prison and visited you?”
and Jesus replied, “When you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you fed, clothed and visited me”
