Depth of Beauty

DEPTH OF BEAUTY
(A poem for Rachel Jeantel and her Haitian ancestry in honor of Trayvon Martin by yolantha)
DEPTH OF BEAUTY
the dust from
the wings of a moth
intrigues me
the same as
the dust from
the wings of a butterfly
the slightest touch of my
finger
causes such dust to
linger
yet
flying in the wind
causes not the wing to bend
or one grain of dust
to be
undone

  1. It is difficult to imagine that there is a Greater Purpose to this sad sad event, but Creator has a plan for us.
